Introduction. Understanding the peculiarities of determination behavior individuals, in particular, security workers, conflict situations by their individual characteristics, can significantly help organizational psychologists, specialists personnel work during selection and placement according to areas, forecasting, resolution prevention conflicts at workplace, increase overall efficiency firms. Aim. To find out relationship between propensity guards use certain conflict-management strategies personal characteristics. Methods. The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Іnstrument (ТКІ) (adapted N. Grishina), Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF) R. Cattell, Leongard-Shmishek Accentuation Type Test, Test self-assessment stressresistance S. Kouhenand G. Willianson; Pearson's correlation analysis non-parametric Mann-Whitney U-test were used for statistical data processing. Results. personality approaches various factors are analyzed, leading ones being properties, such as characterological features, character accentuations, stress resistance.Differences found with types accentuations: demonstrative, emotional, exalted, anxious, stuck, hyperthymic.The a set Cattell's 16-factor questionnaire 16-PF was established.According test resistance Kouhen Willianson, no correlations found. Conclusions. study established determining service employees characteristics – traits (dreaminess / practicality; abstract concrete thinking; sensitivity firmness; high low normativeness; suspiciousness credulity, etc.) (demonstrational, emotional,exalted, stuck hyperthymic).
